I love this painting by Brian Kershisnik, and have been thinking of it daily since I came across it a few weeks ago.

Acorns

I hate the oak tree in my backyard. The mass of acorns every year brings a mass of squirrels and a massive mess. These acorns are felted, but they are making me want to go outside and start searching for acorns right now. I don't know how to felt, but what if I were to paint them?

Hand Drawn Frames

How cool is this?! I love it and wish the walls in my basement were smooth (instead of faux wood paneling with a groove every 2 inches) so I could do something like this downstairs.
But it would also be really neat in a kids room. Hmm, the girls room is desperate for a redo. . .

Martha always knows what's up. I'm envisioning making these in black and red for Sable's party - A Ladybug Picnic. Then reusing the red and adding some light blue and maybe yellow or pink to match the Hello Betty by Moda fabric Layer Cake (which I love OH SO much) I'll be using to make some banners for Capri's American Girl Party.

I think I'm getting more excited about these parties then the girlies are.
